  1. Back in the day, children get their college certificates in the country in they lived. However, in the current period, teenagers have the opportunity to finish their education in different countries. The primary benefit of this will be having a set of different knowledge for that perspective field and the concerning drawback is that it is an expensive process to obtain that knowledge.

In today’s generation, teenagers are attempting to pursue their further studies from different nations as they think they will be able to concur with an exclusive aspect or face of that individual stream. As they can connect with new people and a unique set of environments for studying. Individuals will do their job of studying hard from their core of mind, as they wanted the environment or the set of knowledge, they strived for which are fulfilling their thought steadily. For instance, a study was conducted in Canada, which resulted in 75% of children from various nations studying in the country.

On the other hand, gaining knowledge from a different country is great but at the same time expensive. Many poor families are unable to fulfill their children’s dream of gaining experience for some set of theories. Every nation has its fee structure created as per the prospects and the knowledge they will be sharing. To illustrate, a student from India, going to pursue their remaining set of education from The United States of America, will be expensive to manage his personal and travel expenses.

In conclusion, while there are plus points of completing an individual’s education from several countries such as obtaining a variety of experience but at the same time managing their expenses are difficult as it is not cheaper.

  2. Over the last decade, there has been a rising trend of youth going overseas to do their higher studies rather than completing their college degrees in their home country. This essay suggests that students being exposed to a new culture and better carrier opportunities are the biggest advantages of this, whereas the problem of increased brain drain in the country is its primary disadvantage.

To begin with, one of the main benefits of acquiring foreign education is the exposure students recieve to a new world and its cultural norms. This helps them to widen their mental horizon and break the historical status quo. Furthermore, such students would prefer attending a university that is more advanced than the one existing in their country. After which, they are more equipped for the job market and usually have higher-paying jobs both inside and outside the country than their counterparts back home. As an example, MNCs are shown to offer much higher salary packages to employees with an overseas degree than the ones who have local degrees.

On the other hand, this presents a disadvantage mainly for a country as this would mean the increased issue of brain drain. Students who go abroad are highly intelligent candidates and after completing their studies, they tend to prefer to remain there for work and not come back. This leads to the home country missing out on the economic benefits that come with a highly skilled workforce. As an instance, a research conducted in India concluded that, on average, per year India has lost 20% of its skilled working population to countries like USA and Canada due the problem of brain drain.

To conclude, ease with which students can obtain a foreign degree these days is advantageous for an individual as it helps them to have a better standard of living while the same has a disadvantage for the country as the risk of losing onto its highly talented and skilled personnel increases.

  3. There was a time when students pursued their graduation in their respective countries. However, there has been a paradigm shift lately and borders have become nebulous in respect to education. This essay will discuss the benefits and drawbacks of this metamorphosis in the study culture all around the world.

On one hand, this newly developed scenario holds certain advantages. Firstly, it provides an individual with an opportunity to compete at a global level and learn from the best professors in the top universities. For instance, by clearing the merit list in GMAT examination a person from ay nation can enter into prestigious institutes like Harvard University. As a result, he opens for himself the gateways for better job prospective in the future. Secondly, migrating to another country also helps a student to become acquainted with its culture and language. This cultural diversification results in spreading of universal brotherhood across the globe. To illustrate, there has been significant rise in number of people learning foreign languages such as French in India for last decade.

On the other hand, there are certain disadvantageous aspects of migrating for the sake of studies. To begin with, language and cultural barriers may lead a person to remain socially aloof abroad. As a result he may suffer from depression owing to this isolation. Another factor corresponding to drawbacks is that moving to study abroad might open a pandora’s box of responsibilities for a pupil. This is because he has to earn, cook go grocery shopping etc. all by himself along with completing his degree program. For example, almost every student migrated from India has been employed in part-time jobs to make both ends meet.

To conclude, student immigration has only increased the standards of education globally, it has also improved international relations among the nations. However, for a foreign national it might be difficult to develop social relations and take care of every iota of responsibilities abroad.
