Answer

Every individual needs the motivation to achieve their objectives or do a new thing. In case of children, this is also the same. There are some culture where the guardians told their children that if they try harder, they can accomplish anything. This message can produce several effects on their children’s mind.

In the social point of view, telling this to children is very important because we are motivating the child not to give up. We are making them try hard, to make an effort, to read between the lines and at the end of that long path achieve their objective. A 13 years old kid Jordan Romero, climbed the Everest, which is the highest mountain of the word with his parents, is a living example. He proved that nothing is impossible for a kid if they try hard enough to do certain things.

However, it is not always helpful sometimes. Some things require physical ability where other things need talent. Sometimes children become depressed when they face failure even though they tried hard enough. Over motivation can cause mental pressure on children which is not good at all for their mental growth as well as for their physical development. In the economic point of view, if our objectives demand a lot of money, we are again in the same situation, although we work hard, it would be difficult to achieve it.

To sum up, we are teaching to children how life works. It demands hard work, effort and a lot of dedication. In the end, if you have done all these things but you still did not achieve your goal, you will be happy anyway because you did your best.

  1. In some societies, adults used to advise the offspring that anything can be achievable by trying hard enough. By believing in this, children will be able to achive their targets and will be motivated to do so, but there are also some drawbacks in this to be taken into account.

The main advantage of giving such advice to children is that they will go for their goals wihthout easily giving up. Since most of the young children often do not tend to make effort to achieve something, but rather loose motivation trying only to some extent. For example, when a child wants to learn the guitar, he does not know how hard it takes to practice the instrument step by step. Instead, he tries some advance methods and may give up without learning anything at all. If the child were adviced to make effort harder, it could motivate him and end up learning the guitar well.

On the other hand, one drawback of this type of advice is that it could be potentially dangerous for the mentality of some children. That is, by keep pushing a child to try harder and harder for something, and if the child failed, he would get depressed severly. Consequently this would lead to deplete the sefl confidance in him loosing un-achievable targets.

Another issue with this is children may try to gain unlawful goals. For instance, youngsters are usually get interested in many things that they see. If this advice had been implanted in a child who is with a strong desire to get a sophisticated toy that his firend owns, he would make plans to get it to himself by any mean. Such behaviours will lead to extreme criminal ends in future, thus advising the children with such facts could turn into negative effects as well.

In conclusion, while the habit of some cutures to tell children that anything can be achievable by giving effort hard enough could have some benefits, these advices may lead issues of the metality as well as some harmful behaviours of young children.

  2. A bright future for children is the concern of numerous people in some parts of the world. It has been claimed that if they continue to work with all one’s might, they can accomplish what they have planned to do. This attitude is advantageous to most children. However, undoubtedly, it has its drawbacks as well.

On the one hand, many people believe that children who keep working hard can enjoy the fruits of their efforts. Moreover, thinking about this idea can keep them motivated and persuade them to follow their dreams even if they encounter hardships. Thus, it leads them to take advantage of the opportunities and cope with the ups and downs of life. In addition, motivated children have indicated that they can be more creative because of their self-confidence. The reason for this self-assurance is that they are sure they can achieve anything.

On the other hand, undoubtedly, this idea may backfire in some cases. For instance, children Might consider every dream possible to come true and set unrealistic goals for themselves. For example, a boy wishes to have an expensive car by the age of 15, and all he can do for making his wish true is save money and study hard, then when he comes to term with the truth that it is not probable, he will get disappointed and will stop trying for other goals as well.

In conclusion, it should be noted that although there are some negative points in following this motivation statement, it can bring out Remarkable achievement for children who set the goals based on their abilities.

  3. Some cultures motivate kids to be a hard worker to achieve whatever goal they desire. There are some benefits and drawbacks for this advice, if it is taken into account seriously.
To start with advantages, if a kid concentrates on the importance of resilience and hardworking for attaining his or her goal, he will learn to exercise utmost patience when confronting obstacles which results in restless efforts to achieve success. For example, if a kid wants to be a champion in a certain sport, he may have to experience numerous challenges in different rivalries and in order to stay resilient, he should believe the power of hardworking that increases the possibility of success.
Moreover, the drawbacks can not be neglected in a parallel view. When a child is advised that no goal is unreachable, if you make an effort, in cases of certain personal limitations, such as physical ones, they may refer their failure as self- insufficiency with which, they feel worthless and incapable of attaining success. Hence, their self-esteem will prolifically be damaged. In addition, negative perfectionist parents usually pressure their children to achieve their childhood unfulfilled dreams with this approach, which is deterrent for their self-confidence and mostly results in personal dissatisfaction and anxiety.
To sum up, encouraging kids to try restless for a success have different positive and negative impacts, such as being more resilient and feeling anxious in different situations.
