Nowadays the technological developments enable us to read the book and newspaper on electronic devices, rather than buying books or newspapers. It makes some people believe that in future everything will be digitalised and people will stop printing books and newspaper.

First of all, e-books and online news portals are continuously getting popular among the readers because they didn’t need to carry books or newspapers with them. It just required only a mobile device to access them and continue reading. Secondly, the cost of e-books is relatively lower than the books because there is no extra expenditure o manufacturing and printing associated with e-books. Also, digital books are environment friendly, which is a great advantage for them. Evert year roughly 80 to 160 thousand trees are cut down to produce papers. But, as a result of the increasing popularity of digital books, the figure is decreasing day by day, which is good news for protecting our environment.

On the other hand, traditional printed books and magazines have existed from centuries and they have created some kind of emotional connection and value for people. When a man reads a book, and he likes it, he most probably would like to have it, in form of tangible things. Books are a form of art, like statues and painting. You can have a picture of some painting on your mobile phone but having the painting itself in your home has an intangible value.

To conclude, I believe that the number of books will decrease considerably and maybe even dramatically, however, printed tangible books will still be demanded by many people as they have some aura and value in addition to the things that are written inside.

  1. All directional information which provide a platform for updates to global population, are forecasted is none other than the newspaper. The form of news is available in print, while the techno-world is relying on an online base, nowadays. The extension of self-view will be explained at the end of discussion towards the online form. A first talk on some agreed points of an electromagnetic news. Meticulously, it is the good platform for two way communication between journalism and readers, resulting in, the relied data would read an online which is being allowed for the quick feedback from people. For instance, an e-paper of ‘The times of India’ is being created opinion polls for readers, who can put their comments either postive or negetive on particular once. In continuation, a second one of the merits on e-news is consuming less and flexible time. In depth, not only browsing sites of express journals but also some android applications are available for time saving breaking news. Besides all kind of field should be covered in small pocket app and flexibility for any language which is preferred by them. Name of some applications are, ‘Daily hunt’, ‘In short’, ‘ Google news’ and so on. However, there are many unlike points of free online news, that are supporting with printed and books. Firstly, paper form should not need an internet or Wi-Fi. Though magazines are consumed money some what extent, an e-magazines are loosen money market by producer. Secondly, an older audience can not able to access digital platforms. Lastly, if the online version is here, the errors are always there due to 0. 1% human’s error in the artificial intelligence system. As far as I am concerned regarding an unplayable digital daily updates are becoming a boom in current. Indeed, because of a vast deta base of each Directions, the details are been there in an every field and in all languages which giving an opportunity to go through with up-to-date global details with sitting any corner of the world in a sort time.

  2. In the modern world, technology is continuously developing due to which digital media is taking over the printed materials. A myriad of people believe that newspapers and books will become extinct as nobody would buy them. Rather, they would get everything for free on the internet. I totally agree with this statement and would give exactly two reasons in this essay to advocate this idea.

Newspapers and books require paper to be printed, however, making paper deteriorates environment as we need to cut trees for this. Due to this newspapers and books are being reduced and their digital form is being promoted by various companies. For instance, there are some book companies that have completed stopped printing paperback editions, instead they are selling e-books. Urbanization has already harmed nature so much that humans are trying to reduce its impact by avoiding such habits. Because of this, newspaper and books will be stopped printing completely.

As we know, most part of digital media is already free. Rather than relying on subscriptions, they are dependent on advertisements for generating revenue. That is why e-newspapers and e-books will replace the old traditional newspapers and books as they will be free. For example, YouTube is a popular media website which contains all type of content, that too free. As it’s revenue is bolstered by various advertisements. Hence, when everything would be available for free on the internet, so why would someone pay for the paper editions of newspapers and books.

Human kind has already done so many things that are detrimental to the natural ecosystem and the earth. A plethora of scientists are trying their best to find a way back to alleviate this damage. By completely abandoning use of paper based newspapers and books, we could save a lot of forests. Who would want to pay for a thing that you could get for free? Digital media is the future where articles, blogs, books, and all other things could be viewed and read without any cost. Thus, definitely newspapers and books will become history and humans will move towards free digital media world.

  3. Years later everybody will be reading and studying books on the Internet and no more printed books or newspapers will be published. This essay agrees that printed books seem to fade completely in the near future as the technological world is becoming more and more popular nowadays. Firstly, it is always easier to carry an ebook with you rather than a physical book. Secondly, people will no longer have to pay high prices for different books they are going to read.
Being given the chance of not being forced to carry a number of heavy books with you, people seem to be less interested in buying printed books. Online books are able to be on your smartphone and people can use them whenever they like. This has made people slowly getting more involved with electronic books than the printed ones. For example, so many schools and universities have replaced the old thick books with the new online versions, in order to make an easier access to them for the students.
Soon, when everything can be found online for free, people will no longer need to pay for any of the books they need. By the time when all kinds of books would be available on the Internet, the bookshops will disappear little-by-little. And this would lead to a world where nobody pays for a morning paper or a novel anymore. A good example of this could be applications like Google Play Books and Apple books that provide people people with a large variety of books and the number of their users are increasing each day.
In conclusion, people are getting more and more involved with the technology and losing interest in non-technological stuff and this is affecting all aspects of people’s lives including printed books.
