Answer

Alternative medicine is not new. These are being used way before conventional medicine is invented, and it is still used by many people all over the world. I am unconvinced that it is dangerous and feel that both alternative and conventional medicine can be useful to treat a disease.

There are several reasons why the conventional medicine community finds it hard to believe in the alternative form of medicines. First of all, there has been little scientific research in this field, so there is a lack of evidence to support the claim of their supporters. Furthermore, people often try this kind of treatment by the recommendation of their friends and family, and therefore come to the therapist with a very positive attitude, which may be a part of the reason for the cure. Moreover, these medicines are only useful if someone uses it for the long term. Acute medical problems, such as accidental injuries often required more conventional methods.

On the other hand, despite the lack of scientific proof, there is a lot of evidence to suggest that these therapies are useful. Besides, far from being dangerous, they often have few or no side effects, so the worst outcome would be no changes. Moreover, we should not forget that, when there were no modern medicines available at an early age, peoples used these kinds of alternative treatments to cure themselves, and these prove can be easily found in the histories.

To conclude, I strongly believe that conventional and alternative medicine should coexist. They both have completely different strengths and can be used effectively to cure the disease as well as any particular medical problems.

  1. Question- in many countries, prison is the most common solution to crime. However, the most effective way is to provide better education to people so they would not become criminals . To what extent do you agree or disagree.

People of various ideologies dwell in the society . Everyone’s notion of handling any problem varies. Conviction as the solution to crime is a conventional way . However , providing education eradicates criminal bent of mind is supported by many which needs to be pondered upon.

According to my perception, imprisonment doesn’t surefire success as a solution to crime . Undoubtedly, it inflicts remorse and regret in some. However, the psyche is responsible for committing crime. Besides that, being subjected to substandard conditions proves to be noxious towards the psychological health. Punishment either leads to regret or acts as a catalyst towards developing an even dangerous criminal. Precaution is better than cure is apt. Thus, the best solution is to cease the procedure of transforming into a criminal.

Education causes people to overcome menial boundaries and think wider. Moreover, knowledge of various reforms , laws alongwith consequences restrain people from executing any immoral deed. Learning about the struggle of freedom fighters fosters a feeling of boundedness along with enhancing national integrity. Innate characteristics have a significant impact. However , the ambience plays an important role as well. An educated individual is more likely to commit fewer crimes, possessing social and moral values . Moreover, a literate person has more financial stability. Thus, eradicating economic reasons of committing crime.

In the epilogue, conviction further worsens the problem. Hence, education is most instrumental in the pursuit od achieving a sound, noble and crime-free society.

In the contemporary era , there is increase in the use of alternate forms of medicine . As some people said that it might be ineffective or it can also lead to loss of life .
To commence with, there are multifarious reasons why people prefer alternate form of medicines. The root of the cause is alternative medicines don’t have any side effects and it is also easily available at home .
In other words if these medicine does not resolve the problem but it will give rise to any other disease . For example if we look at earlier generation , people are 50 percent more healthier as compare to today’s generation . Thus alternative medicine are better to keep the person away from the negative effects of modern medicines.
Moving to my another point , some people only believe that conventional medicines are best . To elaborate it , people have a belief that they can only be treated through modern medicines as they tested by well qualified scientist and researchers . For instance , as 30 percent people prefer to use these conventional medicines for early and fast recovery .
To conclude, I strongly believe that both the medicine should coexist . So in emergency conventional medicines can be used along with alternative medicines to avoid the side effects and fast recovery

  2. Nowadays, many alternative medicines to cure diseases are developed all over the world. Alternative medicines can be used to make people strong and healthier. Some people said that it may be ineffective or side effects in some circumstances but at worst may be dangerous. I agree to some extent with this idea for many different factors.
On the one hand, alternative medicines are becoming rival to traditional therapies like therapy with needle in Chinese and herbal medicines. People today are more using alternative medicines widespread than people in the past because it can be available in everywhere. There are many kinds of diseases like cancer, heart disease, hypertension and diabetes that can be cured by alternative medicines. Nevertheless, the last stage of cancer patient may not be saved by using alternative medicines.
On the other hand, alternative medicines have some drawbacks. People can suffer allergies and severe symptoms if she or he is not suitable or fit with it . In some condition, people can die because of alternative medicines. Furthermore, taking one medicine for long term has noticeable impact on stomach. Therefore, individuals should take medicines under the instruction of doctors and healthcare workers. Otherwise, they would face undesirable health problems.
In conclusion, alternative medicines have both benefits as well as drawbacks. The most important thing is to take medicine under the instruction of doctor.

  3. In the future, more people will choose to go on holiday in their own country and not to travel abroad on holiday.
    Do you agree or disagree?
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your knowledge or experience.

In a modern world, there has been an accelerating trend of people travelling to different countries for leisure. However, some travel experts believe that a large group of population would explore the local tourist places in the near future rather than hopping around the world. In my opinion, I believe that many people will prefer to travel in their own country in the coming days.
Firstly, going on holidays in your own country is cheap and affordable as compared to travelling overseas. As we all know that many people suffered through financial crises due to the world-wide spread of COVID-19 thus it is worth considering that now budget travellers would wish to on the vacation to nearby travel destinations which would not burden their pockets. For example, one of my friends used to go on an international holiday every year however, this year she chose to travel Shimla- a hill station, as she was tight on money.
Secondly, there is no denying that the advancement in electronic and social media has made humankind familiar with numerous beautiful places of the country. Nowadays, there are several channels available online which reveal the country’s most astonishing sites and spots. Furthermore, the government has started telecasting advertisements to boost tourism. All these initiatives have encouraged masses to go on a holiday in their respective countries. To illustrate, according to ‘National Tourism Survey 2018,’ there is an increase in India’s tourism rate by 35 per cent due to the expansion of media platforms and advertisements.
In conclusion, there is a high possibility that the wanderers will prefer going on trips in the country where they reside. This will not only save their hard-earned income but in turn, will help local businesses flourish therefore contribute to improving the national economy.

  4. World is changing at a rapid pace with various inventions and discoveries in myriad fields like technology, medicine, and economics. Scientific breakthroughs in the field of medical science have given a ray of hope to people suffering from life-threatening diseases. However, alternative forms of treatment like homeopathy and naturopathy have gained popularity over the past few years. In my opinion, the use of these alternative methods should be discouraged as they can have a negative impact on a person’s health.

Firstly, alternative forms of treatment can cause irreversible damage to human body. Often, these methods do not have any scientific evidence supporting them, and they are made popular by people who do not hold a valid medical degree. These people are those who want to make money by hook or by crook. For instance, in India, close to 2000 deaths were recorded in a village named Macchra in the year 2015 following the consumption of a homeopathic mixture prepared by a local priest in the village’s temple. People consumed this mixture because they were told that it could help them get rid of arthritis. As a result, it lead to the untimely death of many people due to the absence of any scientific data proving the safety of that homeopathic mixture.

Lastly, these forms of treatment are not effective and they burn a hole in one’s pocket. Since these ways are not based on scientific studies, they fail to cure an ailment. Also, these treatments cost an arm and a leg because individuals providing these treatments aim to extract as much money as possible by making false promises. For instance, one of my friends went to a homeopathic doctor to get rid of pimples and excess skin oil. Even after two years of visiting that doctor regularly , her skin’s condition is the same. However, she spent half of her savings on a baseless treatment. Consequently, this alternative form of treatment cost her a fortune.

In the end, I would like to restate that I strongly discourage the usage of other methods of treatment as they can damage a person’s health. Also, along with being ineffective, these treatments make people spend their hard earned money on treatments, which, in my opinion, are totally useless and a way of fooling people.

  5. Nowadays the practice of non conventional medical methods are increasing. Many people believe that the negative effects of these medical practices far outweigh its positive effects. But in my opinion, practicing these forms of medicine are very beneficial for both human mind and body.

One of the major advantage of alternative forms of medicine is that have very little or no side effects. For example, aromatherapy is a widely practiced alternative approach for pain relief which poses no side effects compared to the pain medication provided by the conventional medical practices. Another argumet in favour of alternative forms of medicine is that almost all of the products used for treatment are natural substances which does not have any harmful impact on the human body. For example, ayurveda, a widely practiced alternative medical form, produces all of its medicines from one or other part of a plant or herb.

Yet another reason in support of alternative forms medicine is that they largely concentrate on preventive medicine. There is no doubt in the fact that it is always better to prevent diseases rather then treating them after it has occured. Many of the lifesytle diseases like high blood pressure, diabetics etc can be prevented by consuming some ayurvedic products in the day to day life.

In conclusion, the practices like ayurveda or aromatherapy can be very helpful in many medical conditions and also in maintaining a healthy lifestyle which will
inturn contribute to a healthy body and mind. Promoting these prcatices can therefore be very helpful to many a people.

  6. Nowadays, along with rapid development of science and technology, seems majority of diseases can be cured with advanced treatment and medicine. But there are great number of people seeking for alternated drugs. Those drugs are labeled with unreliable, some even being treated to have detrimental consequence on the course of treatment. However, I disagree that looking for different type of drugs will only have negative impact.

Admitted or not, medicine development is not sufficient and it still need greater experienment from different fields, especially for those deadly illness. With our current medicine, HIV cannot be cured and numerous patients are still suffering from this disease. the only available of drugs for doctor to prescribe to the patients is pain killer, which essentially not changing the course of illness. patients are looking for substituted drug and hope it can improve their well-being, in such case, as comtemporary medicine encounters its bottle-neck, patients should advised to not only limited themselves with existing medicine, but also looking for new type of drugs.
Furthermore, trying new medicine is the way to discover new treatment for complicated illness. As for advanced illness like cancer, patients need to undergo a long term radiotherapy, which is not only painful but also require patients to have great endurance, which most of patient are not capable of in a long run. the homeopathy medicine make of herbes is another pain-free option for cancer patient. As more and more patients opt to painless herbal medicine, hospitals are paying more attention on herbal medicine, various medical laboratoris have established for experimentation and discovering new medicine from herbes.

In conclusion, alternative medicine shall not be treated as all evil, hospital and people should try to understand patients when they are using alternative drug. rather than demonize them, think out of the box, maybe it is another way to foster the development of modern medicine.

  7. Currently there is a trend towards the use of alternative forms of medicine. However, at best these methods are ineffective, and at worst they may be dangerous.
To what extend do you agree with this statement?

Every now and then, new medicines are being developed and people are not sure about the effects of these medicines as they can have a detrimental effect on human health. In my opinion, I agree that conventional medicines need to be tested through proper procedures to test them for their harmful effects, however people are forced to consume these medicines particularly in developing countries.
In 19th century where medical knowledge was developing at a slow pace compared to the current generation, doctors would not have complete knowledge if the medicine they are prescribing to the patient is safe or not. Furthermore, patients would likely trust their instincts more and try on other conventional methods where the medicine can be considered more dangerous than the one prescribed. For example, there was a case in Northern Europe where the newly developed medicine was given to the patients without proper trials which resulted in patient passing away the next day due to poison being found in the prescribed medicines. This case led to people looking for other forms of medicines. Alternatively, nowadays people can easily find about the cause and effects of the specific medicine through doctors who has proper knowledge about the patients’ use of alternate medicines and can give a proper advice on the use of these conventional medicines
People in developing countries do not have the luxury to buy these medicines and are more prone to diseases. So people tend to look for conventional medicines which are locally made and can cause side effects which they consider it non-threatening. Especially in Africa, most of the natives there make their own living by selling self-created medicines and sell them to people roaming in streets. Most natives do not seem to care about the after effects of taking a medicine and just consume them for a sake of ‘cure’.
In conclusion, researches are being done in the medical field to test for any adverse effects on human through trial-and-error method. Moreover, developing countries are looking for conventional ways to treat diseases and consequently are paying for their carelessness without proper consultation.

  8. some people say that E- books and modern technology will totally replace traditional newspaper and magazines to what extent do you agree or disagree.

Technology is flourishing by leaps and bounds and providing us new avenues while keeping ourselves updated with the latest news and current affairs. But I believe that not everyone on this planet have access to the internet and large population of people are not aware of the contemporary technology. So, I strongly oppose the given statement to the large degree.
The first and foremost reason to deny the prompt given is the most people leading lives in rural areas are habituated with daily newspapers and additional to it they also use radio to get notifies and to get alerts regarding surroundings, such as politics, social, weather etc. For rural people living like this it is strenuous to adapt with enhancing technologies. People living in atmosphere cannot understand how to use use online sources for purpose of news happening word wide. For instance consider a man living in a village, if he is given a electronic device like mobile or tab, he will not be able to use that gadget this is because he have no idea about what it is and how to operate that device.
Here comes the second reason, why newspapers cannot be replaced by online books or websites and advanced technology this is due to illiteracy rate throughout the globe. Where the illiterates take 34% of the population on the entire planet, this have adverse effect to show improvement using the latest technology advancements. Although, people to the large extent has awareness about the trending technology and its developments, being uneducated became the main factor to use the traditional newspapers rather online tools. For example if an uneducated is give a mobile and he cannot read the text on it this is due to lack of basic education and knowledge, he cannot read what is given neither how to operate. Instead of a mobile if he is given a local newspaper he could read it, understand it. They may also use radio services which is even more simpler and much more easier for understanding purpose when compared to local newspapers.
So here by, I conclude that traditional way of getting awareness on the activities going around cannot be erased as there are people who cannot use technology and people who are still illiterate on this planet.

  9. In the present times, there is a lot of buzz in regards to the Medical field. Mainly the focusing being the alternative forms of medicine being used my peopole of various age groups, somehow in my opinion there is no serious health hazards by using an alternative. First reason being the ease of availabilty , and the second being price range.

Now, when we say availability its very much common in that a medical drug might be available in a particular area of a specific brand, but then it might not be available in another area which is just a fews miles away. It is highly impossible to travel each time to a neighbouring sector for a medicine, the reason being the limitation of funds to spend on trnasport to travel to such a distance. Therefore it is a clever idea to alternate it with another drug with the same composition but of a different label.

Secondly, the costs involved play a major role too. The medicine of one brand costs more and the same medicine with a different label to it cost much cheaper. Naturally, a person would prefer to buy it where he could save some pennies rather than shelling out on a bigger brand that would pretty much do the same job. Since there is no difference in the way that the medicine works on us, it is preferrably a good option for people with low income or for that matter people who are trying to save for their future to take up an alternative option.

In my view, keeping in veiw all the pionts the alternative forms of medicines are no bad idea. Since it is easy to find them anywhere and we would not have to miss the dose prescribed by the doctor and due to the economic reasons too. In support to that, there has been no news of health problem on taking an alternative form of medicine rather than the medicine of a prescribed label.

  10. In Britain, when someone gets old they often go to live in a home with other old people where there are nurses to look after them. Sometimes the government must pay for this care. Who do you think should pay for this care, the government or the family? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Irrefutably, old people act as the pillars for society. The argument over whether old age care premium should be paid by government or by the family members, has never been settled so far. In my point of view, the government should be responsible for its citizen’s hardships or any kind of after retirement privileges. This essay shall elucidate my stand with various arguments.

To embark with, any kind of medical care endures substantial vigilance and assistant, especially in case of elderly person. Moreover, it is often witnessed that old age comes with drastic sickness, inability to move, eat and struggle to express sentiments. Therefore, in order to provide them exceptional treatment at that stage of life, huge sum of money is required. Now, in some of the underdeveloped, overpopulated and high inflation rate countries like Sudan, Pakistan, Libya and so on, citizens are financially incapable to arrange such kind of practices for their elders. In that case, government should step forward in favor of its best terms supporting the public attributes.

Furthermore, a good deal of taxes, toll charges and other tariffs deposited by masses and classes every year, enhance the revenue of national authorities. The part of this income could always be fractioned among senior citizens’ care fund by dispersing monthly or biweekly payments directly into their accounts or through paper cheques. This way, none of the aged class people could get deprive of receiving any health care privileges.

Nonetheless, a school of thoughts believe that closed kith and kins should be held accountable for safe keeping their grandparents or aged parents. Since parents spend their lifetime earnings in the upbringing of their children, youth should return the gratitude or express grateful attitude towards them too. Additionally, the onus lies on individuals with seniority too, as majority of them retire with secured savings in the form of provident fund, social security fund, medical care and many more. So, a person should save a section of his or her income throughout the employment time.

In the gist of the whole content, I firmly endorse the fact that government should be held liable towards the grown aged classes. However, care provided by family always lies under best aspects. For underprivileged people, media and charitable trusts can certainly gather contributions around too.

  11. It is undeniably ture that in modern era, increased number of people are getting influenced by alternative medicinal treatment such us homeopathy. Yet, it is believed by few short sighted individual that these approaches are not as effective as scientific ones and have deteriorating impact on health. From my perspective, this argument does not hold any valid ground.

The utilization and popularity of conventional medicines are rising day-by-day. There are numerous reasons behind this; firstly, traditional drugs are composed of natural elements and counselings etc, therefore they do not produce major side effects. For instant, patients going through alternative skin treatment faces less numbers of side effects as compared to steroidal therapy. Thus, they also reduce mental burden of patients. It is seen that most individual switch to alternative options because of there psychological breakdown. Secondly, our ancestors survived using plant based drugs which is evident in our religious books. Additionally, lengthy researches are being carried out by scientists for it’s not only further development but also to enhance acceptance. As example, researchers have published paper on Ayurveda to state their positive results.

On contrary, some modernist think that they are not useful in emergencies like accidents and heart attacks. Moreover, traditional medicines are considered to be time consuming which definitely will be trublesome for impatiently.

In conclusion, despite of opposing views, I assert that alternative medicines are efficient and safe. Hence, switching to these treatments are bringing positive changes.

  12. Mankind fears what is unknown to them. When Copernicus talked about earth rotating around the sun , he was shunned by the royals and the powerful elites of the time. I believe the same fear and paranoia is being created around the alternative forms of medicine .

Coming from a country where these alternative forms of medicine such as Ayurveda, have been successfully used since thousands of years , I can vouch for it’s healing powers and usefulness. The opinion that these medicines are ineffective and dangerous are absurd at best. On the contrary they offer a way to treat ailments without major side-effects.

I vividly remember the time my father was diagnosed with jaundice and was critically ill. All the traditional medicines had failed to provide any relief. At this juncture my grandmom with her knowledge stepped in. She started applying a paste of papaya leaves all over his body . Within a week he started showing signs of improvement and was completely fit in a month’s time .

In the end , I would like to conclude that we can continue to create a fear and paranoia around these alternative methods , but they are here to stay as they offer a solution without side-effects to many of the ailments which the traditional methods do not have an answer to .

  13. These days, there has been a great demand among people to choose alternative treatment and medicines for a cure. Some believe that those medicines would are of minimal or no side effects, I would assert that they have no major risk to human health and can treat some health issues.

There are a plethora of reasons for not choosing alternative medicines. To begin with, not enough research has been done by the researchers, to decide whether available alternative products give desired or best result. Secondly, one cannot rely on new or substitute medication or treatment in emergency situation like cancer, heart stroke, asthma to name a few.

On the other hand, alternative medicines do have some benefits. To start with, many ayurvedic medicines don’t have a side effect but may have delay in response to ones body but have long lasting results. They can even treat severe diseases like cancer, shortness of breath, etc. Secondly, there are various advantages of performing yoga and improve physical well-being of a person which can be done at any place. This is not the case with the allopathic medicines, which can have adverse side effects to one’s health.

To conclude, I do not agree with the argument that alternative therapies are waste of time and money. In my opinion, there is no harm in taking alternative therapies as a side option and one can try them but not in case of medical emergency. In critical situation one has to trust the modern medicines and go as per prescribed medications given by the doctor.

  14. Some people say that parents should encourage their children to take part in organised group activities in their free time. Others say that it is important for children to learn how to occupy themselves on their own. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

There has been an increasing debate as to whether children should be encouraged to participate in group activities or they should choose the activities in free time on their own. In this essay, I will shed some light on both the views and give my opinion.

There are a plethora of benefits for children to socialize in group activities. To begin with, kids can easily interreact and learn things among same age group. To illustrate this, the picnic can be organised among children, and they are given space to socialize. Additional, they can learn various team building exercises to build confidence among themselves and grasp new things.

On the other hand, kids should be independent in choosing their activities in their free time. This will give them freedom to accept challenges and learn new things in life. However, there are possibilities that they could choose a wrong path. Due to technological advancement, children could be attracted to play games online rather doing physical activities. Kids can use internet platform in a negative manner and misuse it, so regular monitoring by the parents is required.

In conclusion, having considered both views, I think an organised group activity is beneficial for the children rather leaving it on children to decide. They are the future of the society, once gone on wrong way, it is difficult to bring them back.

  15. Question–The average standard of people’s health is likely to be lower in the future than it is now.To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?
Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

    Answer–

People’s health is likely to be lower in the future as compared to now on an average standard. In my opinion, the graph of diseases is increasing with the increase in the pollution so it proportionally affects the people’s health more in future.

Firstly, I want to highlight some ignorance happening from the people’s related to their health like their lifestyle, food habits, environmental pollution, lack of nutrients in food, lack of exercise. All the factors are directly impacting the health and getting worse day by day. For example, the foods and the vegetable were already contaminated and contains food chemicals in them. So, as time passes people are least bother about these things and because of this the health affects more as it is now. In our daily routine, we need to add some balance in the diet as well as involve the proper amount of carbs and protein as required. We all know our diet involves 70% importance in our life. Along with diet the pollution is also another major of concern because the noise pollution and air pollution is increasing in the air which we inhale so by the time it increase affects us the most. Due to this also our future health will highly impact.

Secondly, our lifestyle is also another factor which impacts our health and it gives more impact in future if we took it for granted. We all know that our work culture is slightly against nature. Currently, due to the covid situation, all are working from home so we need to focus on our health because we have to be strong enough to fight against the disease. Our immunity is the core thing that prevents diseases like covid and normal climatic effect changes.

In conclusion, we need to concern more on the diet, lifestyle and pollution factors so that we can somehow manage the graph of decreasing people’s health. As we all know by increasing the time these factors will also increase and somewhere give a major impact on health as compared to now.

  16. QN: Should government make decisions about peoples lifestyles or should people make their own decisions

    Essay:

People have varying opinion regarding whether their way of living have to be decided by them or by the government. However, I consider that our lifestyle have to be completely determined by ourselves since everybody have the right to enjoy and live their life to the fullest considering their limitations.

One major reason why lifestyle choices have to be solely reliant on the individual is that every individual is different. The needs and necessities of each person may be unique even if something can be found in common. Our life being tuned by other opinion is obviously a boring thing to look into as it is a hindrance to the basic human rights. Furthermore, the capabilities and needs of people are completely contingent on themselves. For Instance, a handicapped person may be in need of something different from a normal person, which are necessarily an imperative part of their life.

Another evident point to consider is that money is one major factor which decides a persons life. Everyone is trying to lead a life under the premised that they set for themselves according to their income. A highly paid person may enjoy more privileges in life than that of a low paid one. Ultimately, a persons life choices are being sustained by his financial background. To illustrate, although a highly equipped car is a common dream of a large section of men, not all of them have it on their own particularly because people are well aware of their limitations and affordability.

In conclusion, although people may vary in opinion, I believe that life choices have to be made by people themselves as it is completely based on their financial soundness.

  17. QN: Human activity has had a negative impact on plants and animals around the world. Some people think that this cannot be changes, while others believe action can be taken to bring about a change. Discuss bothe and give your opinion

    Essay:
Our flora and fauna have been severely affected by human activities. According to some people, this situation is unchangeable while others believe that a change can be brought through proper action plan. However in my opinion, this dilemma can be put to an end by responsive monitoring and enforcement of stringent rules.

On the one hand, it is considered by many that proper government involvement and surveillance at the proper time can reduce the dire consequences of the situation from further worsening and I completely agree. Activities like deforestation, hunting, and destruction of resources and habitat can be minimised to a great extent if people being made aware that they are thoroughly monitored. Furthermore, strict rules against any minor infringement have to be assured. For instance, confiscation of forest areas is reduced to a great level nowadays since wildlife authorities are extra vigilant. This minimises unnecessary encroachment to a great extent.

On the other hand, there is another category of people who believe that there is nothing to be done to the situation. It is thought that leaving the nature undisturbed will be much better than further involvement and making the problem more complicated. Moreover, the degenerative power of nature is being worshipped and emphasised by these people. In other words, nature is being personified and is capable of curing its problems. To illustrate, there is a popular belief among people that coronavirus is an answer to human’s destructive behavious and through this nature is healing itseld by clearing a wide section of the society and ultimately getting cleansed.

In conclusion, although people may vary in opinion, I believe that imposing of proper rules and regulations can tackle the issues relating to the deterioration of environment.

  18. Nowadays, people try different forms of medicine such as Ayurveda, Acupuncture, Homeopathy, Naturopathy, and Traditional Chinese medicine, but these are not effective and sometimes a person can risk his life. I agree to a large degree that these methods are not suitable for every disease.

In ancient times, people tried to use herbs to cure ailments, yet it was not as cured as today’s western medicines. Those techniques take lots of patience, persistence, tolerance, and hard work. For instance, one of my uncle’s friends was suffering from heart disease. He adopted traditional procedures to cure it, but eventually, it failed and he died later on. So, if he had adopted proper medicines, he would definitely have saved his life.

Scientists have progressed tremendously in the field of drugs that cure vulnerable diseases. All different kinds of medicine available in the market with reasonable prices to cure a specific illness. Many physicians recommend taking drugs because of their fast response and relief to pain. Though there are some side effects to it, still it is the most reliable one. Common cold, flu, runny nose, fever, and many more can be recovered quickly, whereas it is not possible in traditional methods. Due to its efficacy and safety, everyone is bound to use western medicines. There are big pharmaceutical companies in India like Cipla ltd., Lipid ltd., and Cadila Healthcare Ltd.

On the other hand, Homeopathy, Naturopathy, Ayurveda provide treatment to the diseased person. Although it takes a lot of time to cure, still people prefer to adopt those procedures because it removes the ailment from its root. This result is hardly achievable in western medicines. Besides, there are no side effects to it. Furthermore, doing yoga, meditation, exercise, and a good diet plan can help to remove stress from life. This leads to a healthy body plus peace of mind.

To conclude, natural procedures help remove the illness, but it is not an appropriate choice in today’s modern life, and also the results are not guaranteed. If one wants instant relief from pain or suffering and coping with a fast-paced world, then taking medication is the best choice.

    Question:
Some people believe that it is best to accept a bad situation such as an unsatisfactory job or shortage of money. Others argue that it is better to try and improve such situations. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.
    _____________________________________________________________________________________

    Content:
Some individuals consider the fact to welcome an unprivileged scenario like disregarded or disdain job or a lack of money. While there are some against the matter and believe to improvise and develop alike situations.
Life is not consistent and hence its engaged with regular two and fro motion where the individuals can’t even predict to what come in front of them soon, it varies with the situations, sometimes it is favourable or positive and sometime the people witnessed to some of the disgraceful scenarios. The point is that do the people carry-on themselves with the same bad situations? Well, taking a glance over to it the people should accept the same, and the particular aspect which allows this is that might be those unsatisfactory situations are just not accounts for a long term issue.
People have to face the kind of bad situations. Such as they might not be comfortable with the over pressure at the place where they are working, or some might face discouragement from others. As this is a part of the life. It does not mean to switch yourself and looking forward to some other provisions at some extent, the focused part is that these unsatisfactory situations are not steady and here comes a hope ‘yes’ the word might gives an positive angle to remain in which you are already incorporated and just wait for the next opportunity.
Besides that, it is been mentioned apposite that the people should rather to remain in that particular situation they should focus on improvising themselves and practice to get rid out of the same. What the believing fact here is that the people usually think that the situation might be get worse and hence it is better to just look for different aspects of development or they might think that what if the consequences would be severe if they ignore the problem, if it is, no doubt the people can do so for instance lets imagine a chemical company and the workers who are working over there, the whole organization is well set upped and the working conditions undoubtedly favourable to each one of the worker. now think about the situation if the government impose some sanctions? Well the people who are getting the negative instinct they can surely switch themselves to other opportunities. While there are some dedicated individuals who might remain there in the bad situations just in sake of hope.
To conclude this, the major factor is to analyze the situation first and accordingly whatever the possibility comes over to the part of the people they just need to accept this. And finally not all situations are to improvise not all can be ignored.

Admittedly, several substitutes of orthodox medicines are being opted by patients such as therapies but a few masses consider that this choice not only seems unproductive but is also causing side effects. However, I think it has lessened the negative outcome faced by people.
Indubitably, without the convincing approval of scientific experiments and empricals, these alternatives sound fearsome to be done on human body as many less experienced have made it a business without any certificate of medicinal authorities. Therefore, these treatments are questioned by a handful of individuals.
Contrarily, numerous benefits of therapies, homeopathic and herbal based methods are being taken by the patients. First of all, users feel safer from moderately toxic chemicals that usually work as a mild drug and develop an addiction in the consumers rather than recovering their illness.
Moreover, herbs never lead to un-welcoming effects neither on skin nor internally because leaves, roots and stems of plants or trees are nowhere equivalent to lab made medicines in case of chemical addition.
Additionally, many conventional books from the ancient times when doctors had no existence advocate the use of other methods of warding off the disease. For example, Auyervaid – a whole system of dealing with ailments were optimal and reliable in India during the time of wars when extreme injuries were gotten by warriors.
In conclusion, although primitive medicinal ways are blessed with the speedy effectiveness yet the results friendly to human body are given by alternatives and they also get rid of the habit of relying on english medicines.

  21. Foreign language is quite new for school children. A learning process is faster when students are in young stage compared to adolescent. Primary level of education is quite interesting age for learning new language. Foreign language learning speed is faster among primary level school students compared to secondary because primary level students are curious to learn foreign language. For example any Australian primary level students at their class are interested to learn French language. There are numbers of causes to learn foreign language faster by primary school students such as new language enforce students, motivate them for new trail, develop curiosity to learn something new.
Primary level students are more friendly and can adopt learning aptitude quickly, their memory power is better than high school students. This level of school base students want to show their potentiality in front of the colleague and teachers. If foreign language started to learnt at class they mostly show their active participation. To learn foreign language primary students apply some approach and strategies such as starting learning from simple to complex word, they try to know script at first, then speak and finally write. They learning language by imitation from colleagues and teachers, active participation on learning make their effective foreign language, they apply a chine proverb if I read I can forget, if I see I can remember and if I do practice I can understand forever. Start learning something new from primary school.

  22. Topic: Currently there is a trend towards the use of alternative forms of medicine. However, at best these methods are ineffective, and at worst they may be dangerous. To what extend do you agree with this statement?

Health is primary factor for every individual to take care and also there is a huge development in the medical field. Apart from medicines prescribed by doctors, people are using other medicinal forms such as home remedies, homeopathy. Few people believe that they are not efficacious and also harmful sometimes which tends to be true as of mine.

Home remedies are applying for most of the usual problems like allergies, cold, cough, to beautify face, hair fall, and a lot more. Those remedies might provide temporary results with a slight improvement but over usage of them will surely affect in many ways which they can’t predict. For example, applying baking soda will remove pimples and spots on the face but by doing like that PH levels on skin will alter and make skin dry and reddish. In general, people don’t have an idea about these type of adverse affects. So, whatever we do related our health, better to take suggestion from a certified doctor.

Homeopathy is another medicine prefered by a proportion of people for diseases such as sugar, thyroid, blood pressure, and a lot more acute and chronical diseases. This kind of medicine won’t be helpful to cure a disease completely as well as causes a lot of other health issues. For instance, A person who use homeopathy will affect with diarrhea, insomnia, increase in body weight which is dangerous. Realization after usage of such medicines won’t curable always.

In my opinion, First people should have awareness about what they are intaking in the form of medicines. Another reason for people tend to use these alternatives is due to high charges in hospitals. So, Government should implement stringent rules and regulations to provide medical services from rich to poor. At any cost, public should stop using other medical forms not prescribed by doctors as they directly affect on their health results to dangerous implications.

  24. Question: Currently there is a trend towards the use of alternative forms of medicine. However, at best these methods are ineffective, and at worst they may be dangerous.
To what extend do you agree with this statement?

The market today is flooded with a plethora of products which are used in place of medicine. However, these alternatives are widely known for not producing the required results and also for being life threatening. This essay will discuss the reasons why I feel that choosing these products over medicine is not a wise decision.

Medicines are produced as a result of years and months of research. Even the tiniest of details are taken care of while producing medicines for a specific ailment. Recently, however, people have started moving towards the consumption of alternative forms of medicine. While these provide temporary relief, they are not effective in the long run. These products are usually priced similar to medicines on the contrary do not yield the same results. Medical Associations of various countries have discouraged the usage of these items, as even in their best form, they do not offer a permanent solution to a patient’s ailment. In numerous cases, the outcomes have been opposite of what is claimed by the manufacturers of such products.

When medicines are manufactured, they are considered safe for usage only after undergoing a number of clinical trials and tests. Although the alternative products are widely manufactured, there is no organization that regulates this market. As per a study, the alternative methods of medicine contain ingredients which can prove to be fatal to the human body. There is a no information pertaining to the impact of these products, yet, there has been an increase in their usage. As these products are launched in the market without being clinically approved, they can be hazardous to a point beyond our control.

In conclusion, I strongly agree that even in their best structure, alternative forms of medicine are highly ineffective and could also prove to be risky to life. Unless advised by a doctor, these alternative methods should not be used.

  25. Children tend to learn quickly and more efficiently by watching television. Hence, children should watch television regularly both in school and at home. do you agree or disagree with that statement

Nowadays, the use of technology is increasing, such Technology including, mobile phones, television and a great deal larger. By watching television, children is being learned quickly, and more efficient way. Therefore, the few individual opine that in daily basis, children should watch television in their school and at home then on the contrary, I believe that it is not the best way to learn extremely quickly.

To embark on, yes it is true that children can easily learn through television due to the fact nowadays, the channel of television provide Best trick for remember the any difficult word easily. In addition, several episodes are shown about general knowledge also other country’s event. As a result, children could be more aware about culture and history. However, the significant use of televisions can lead to numerous disadvantages for children.

Based on my knowledge, there are a number of drawbacks of television. First and foremost, children who watch too much television and do not go outside the home for play therefore, which makes children lazy. Children are unaware for which program is better for them. Consequently, it is directly impact on their career also their behavior. Last, but not least, children watch continuously one by one programs, and they do not stand up from their place. Hence, it could be lead to eye damage. After watching television for a long time, children cannot easily concentrate in their study and whose study could be a burden for them.

In conclusion, I must say television can be good or bad, depending on the personal considerations. On the contrary, from my point of view, I am strongly believed that there are numerous other way to learn immensely well such as, quiz competitions. Consequently, I disagree with this notion that children should watch television regularly.

  26. It has been a practice from ages, around most parts of the world, to use alternative forms of medicine in lieu of Allopathic treatment and this has perhaps been an issue of controversy lately. Many claim that such circumvention to mainstream medical treatment are not only ineffective, but also potentially hazardous. I am of view that such alternate remedies can’t be all view with same evaluation and there are many alternate treatments that are equally effective. However a careful initial assessment and further review should be conducted to ensure that the treatment selected is productive.
The mainstream medicine has one basic rule that the chosen treatment should produce same results in almost 100 % of the cases and the psychological effect is ruled out by giving placebo to some of the test group under study for improvement and side effects. The study of medicine is first approved by recognized organization and then brought to use only after regulatory approvals. Therefore, these medicines are sure to work in the disease over an expected time period and a sure bet to beat an ailment that they were designed for. On the other hand, alternate treatments are usually followed by person owing to their previous experience or that of their relatives / acquaintances, which may or may not be suitable around at this time. In case an alternate medicine worked for someone, a psychological effect can never be ruled out. So, this works in favor of using Allopathic treatment over the alternate ones.
At the same time there are profound reasons to trust alternate treatments in some cases, especially where the mainstream medical science is not able to understand the true cause of condition or the permanent cure to a situation. In fact there are ways to address such issues by alternate treatments like Accupunture, Ayurveda, Naturopathy etc. Many of these treatments have yielded good results, however they have not been accepted into mainstream medical science due to lack of research resources. I am actually a witness to a practitioner solving spinal problems much more efficiently than a conventional doctor would do and am sure there are more than one way to find a cure for an ailment, provided that the practitioner for the branch of treatment is expert in his field. In fact, for some of the disease, main stream science has only the ways to suppress the symptoms with medicines like painkillers, that will eventually cause damage to organs like kidney and liver over a long period of time.
To summarize, I am of view that the alternate treatments should be considered as complementary procedure with careful review, especially in cases where effective treatment is not evident by way of mainstream medal science.

  27. To the best knowledge of medical surveys, there is a new global inclination toward alternative treatment rather than finding remedy in the clinical proven methods. However, I believe otherwise. It is clear due to several reasons this mod doomed to decline for the disastrous outcomes. I will provide more in the following paragraphs.

Firsly, most of the people who tend to utilize these types of medications come from lower classes in the community, in terms of education and financial levels. Therefore, they are easy to convince, and they believe unproven medical data said by their trusted people. For instance, there is saying and traveling folklore that “Honey” is the ultimate herbal cure for all sorts of chronic disorders, which results in high numbers diabetic patients who hospitalized daily due to lack of knowledge of their illness and the relationship between honey and blood sugar.

Secondly, the majority of alternate methods tend to perscribe non-chemical or herbal mixtures or beverages, where they cannot personalized them. To put into simpler word, there is no proven dosages, or instruction. Although these can be considered as CO-remedies, medical practitioners should be cautious in utilizing them. Lastly, a proper medical background and studies is crucial for those in front line who prescribe and provide medical care. Thus, anybody without the knowledge is ineligible to practice.

In short, although the alternative medicine can be used as a synergy for clinical treatment, I do believe that this can be achieved if only medical society begins to make plan for the future use.

  28. In recent years, more and more people are choosing to read e-books rather than paper books. Do the advantages overweigh the disadvantages?

Reading electronic books has become popular among most people for the past few years. In my opinion, the merits of using this instead of paper books outweigh the demerits.
Considering the limitation, to operate an electronic device, a good internet facility is needed, which is difficult to get access in a hilly region and some underdeveloped rural areas, due to poor network signal, thus affects the clarity and continuity of reading stories. Another drawback is constant utilization of digitalized apparatus causes many health issues such as retinal damage and skin disorders due to the effect of radiation and blue light emission. This is exemplified by, about 56% of children’s eyesight has been affected due to exposure to the luminous display of mobiles or laptops.
On the other hand, there are more obvious benefits in reading books through electronic appliances. Firstly, it has a plethora of contents and information, which are categorized into a variety, such as storybooks and educational materials, hence one can prefer according to their interest. Moreover, students benefit by downloading their desired textbooks easily, thus deters the inconvenience of carrying gigantic textbooks while traveling. Secondly, the selection and reading process is available at a single click from home itself, which reduces physical effort to get books from shops in person, therefore it saves more time and money.
Subsequently, electronic books can be stored in cloud storage or navigated whenever in need, so like paper books separate place is not essential to save copies. Finally, the digitalized system eliminates environmental pollution, since paper manufacturing companies emit wastes such as nitrogen dioxide, carbon dioxide, and Sulphur dioxide, which pollutes air, moreover it enables to control of deforestation, as wood plays a pivotal role in producing papers. For instance, the statistics say about 40% of global woods are used up to manufacture papers.
In conclusion, although paper-based reading is good for health it has various hidden impacts on the environment and causes Global warming. Digitalized reading paves a good solution to solve this issue and has many kinds of uses. People should use it accordingly to avoid such circumstances which affect well-being.

  30. topic: The growth of online shopping will one day lead to all shops in town and cities closing.
    Do you agree or disagree?
Advancement in technology opened doors to various methods of shopping. Some people believe that the shops will run out of business, so according to some, online shopping offers great flexibility and convenience to customers. In my opinion, I agree that retail stores totally going to replace by e-shopping.
A good point of virtual shopping is that makes shopping easier and light-handed for most people, As they can make all their purchases at the comfort of their home. For example, Amazon is one of the most popular online shops which grab the attention all around the world, since it presents different kinds of goods and services. Moreover, in online shopping, it is possible to compare goods with different brands just by clicking, thus you can find whatever you want in different brands and read people’s comments about it than making your choice without going around the city and wasting your time in crowded and traffic jam.
Without any doubt, shopping online has benefits for companies too. As far in e-shopping, they do not need any physical store and Seller. that reduces their costs so they tended to increase their e-customers, to achieve this goal they offer big discounts just on the website. A month ago I bought a pair of shoes which had a noticeable cut on the price just on the website, not in the shop.
In conclusion, Leading all shops to e-shopping in near future is something that definitely will happen as it has benefits for customers and owners.

  31. TOPIC: Some countries have introduced laws to limit working hours for employees. Why are these laws introduced? Do you think they are a positive or negative development?

    ESSAY:
Companies run on profits and to achieve such targets they end up exploiting their employees to inhuman levels. Few countries have introduced laws to see through such activities does not occur henceforth bringing in a positive reinforcement for the employees.

These laws are primarily implemented to give justice to the employees. To stop the brutality where the workers have to work for long and odd hours for little wages and sometimes even in harsh and dangerous conditions just to achieve more profits at less cost for the organisation. Moreover, these situations degrade the employees health both mentally and physically which would only harm in the long run.

The application of such laws has a positive development for the employees as they start to get treated as humans and get paid for their efforts accordingly. It drastically reduces the stress levels faced due to prolong hours which also in turn increases the efficiency since it has been proven that the working efficiency drops off significantly after 6-8 ours of work. Also it gives an opportunity to have a life outside work, a social life is as important as work life. To add more, it also gives an opportunity for more workers to be employed working in shifts round the clock efficiently making profits for the company with no cost of health issues.

To conclude, the introduction of laws to limit the working hours by some countries has only bought a positive change to our work culture by valuing our human resources, which was a necessary action to be taken given that employees where exploited greedily.

  32. Karishma Wadhwa

Treatment of Human Beings & animals through alternative Forms of medicine dates back to an ancient era. The time when modern medicinal science was not that developed. I totally agree with the statement that eventually, people have started moving back from the use of modern-day medicine, popularly called allopathy medicine to alternative medicinal forms viz. Naturopathy, Homeopathy, Ayurveda et. al.

Here are a few reasons which have led to this shift in midset & preference to alternative medicines over allopathic medicines. Over the years, people have realized that allopathic medicine although cures the ailment immediately but most of the time does not treat the root cause of the problem. Therefore, there are chances that the problem may arise again. While alternative medicine generally takes a longer time to cure the prevailing condition but mostly attacks the root cause & provides a long-lasting cure.

Secondly, the side effects of allopathic medicines are perceived to be significantly higher than the alternative form of medicines. This is mainly because the former is made up of synthetic chemical substances while the latter is generally made up of plant-based natural substances techniques or uses natural techniques like acupressure. The chances of the latter being significantly injurious to health is minimal.

For Example- I have been suffering from a medical condition for the last ten years. I was on allopathic medicine since then and have consulted the best physicians in the country but all my efforts were in vain. Last year, I consulted an ayurvedic doctor. I took her medicine for just 6 months and the results of my ultrasound stated that my cyst has dissolved completely. There are multiple other examples, stories of people in my family who have been cured through alternative medicinal forms.

All this has led to the shift of humans to alternative forms of medicine. Research & development in this form of this medicine has been in existence since olden times but with the efforts of few preachers like Baba Ramdev, Shri Shri Ravishankar, etc, these medicines are now popular on global platforms. The world, as a whole, has started realizing the importance and is now open to experimenting with these alternative forms of treatment.

  33. Recently, the use of unconventional remedies has seen a surge of popularity amongst the public. These substitutes to modern medicines come in many forms, from simple herbs to mysterious animal tonics. However, these traditional medicines rarely work and usually confer side effects to its users of worse. This article agrees that alternative forms of medicine are ineffective and may be fatal.

Traditional medicines are often made using recipes written before an in-depth understanding of the human body was established. It is also highly likely that these tonics and brews were crafted trough a brutal process of trial and error, instead of a concrete understanding of the medicine’s mechanism in the body.

Moreover, whilst some traditional medicines may work on a few individuals, it may not necessarily work on you. This is attributed to the fact that traditional remedies were likely administered within small villages, amongst people of similar physiology. Tragically, people with different medical backgrounds who ingest these traditional medicines have a high chance of developing allergic reactions. Mild reactions include the development of rashes and sores. However, it is also very possible that an aggressive immune response may be triggered, which could be fatal.

Alternatively, modern medicines have been trialled on a large number of participants with a myriad of different medical histories. These medicines endure rigorous tests over many years before being deemed safe to use on larger populations.

Overall, whilst traditional medicines may be praised by a few, it rarely works for everyone. Ingestion of these medicines also come with risks, some of which may be life-threatening.

  34. Getting treated at the hands of a trained medical personnel does not guarantee a full fledged recovery, albeit, it does soothe the patient’s senses being aware the doctor is medically equipped to handle the situation. This may not be possible in all forms of medicine, especially the alternative medical stream. My essay would dwell on the need to continue having faith in the scientific world and relying on well-learned and educated professionals to handle the work of human treatment.

Alternative medication has been witnessed to work on a few, although details of the magnitude of the disease or the direct correlation between the disease and cure is yet to be fully documented. For instance, in homeopathic treatment, the long gestation period due to the minute dosage patterns make the diagnosis a fairly cumbersome task. There is no sure way to know what has actually worked on the human body. Lack of historical evidence or tabulated data is another area of concern. On the other hand, scientifically tested methods of treatment have a legacy of information across countries about the disease, the controlled tests conducted on animals and humans and candid information about possibly side effects.

Word of mouth and hearsay are the two major wagons on which effectiveness of alternative medicine thrives. Some of the accrued benefits of this method needs to be weeded out using rational thinking. Each body reacts differently to medicines and one prognosis that has been successful cannot be used for all individuals with the same ailment. Genetic history, current living conditions, existing pre-medical conditions, eating patterns, etc. all play a role in a person’s sickness. Each category needs to be understood in detail before prescribing a cure. This is definitely possible with a tested stream of science.

Most importantly, in the event of a mishap, there is no sure way of analyzing the allergen or possible causes if the medicating body is not registered or accepted as a school of work. This leaves the onus of handling the critical situation solely on the shoulders of the aggrieved party. I have my doubts on how many of us would want to be in this situation in life. Doctors on the other hand, have a job of treating their patients bearing in mind the possibilities of legal battles in the event of proven negligence. This works well to dissuade the medical community from taking matters lightly at any given point in time.

To sum up I would state; there is a reason why people chose a stream of work and specialize in the body of knowledge with sufficient in-depth study. This highly complex science requires a lot of acumen, practice and devotion and should be respected & upheld for all that it is credited with – a tough job.

  35. The body of the question
    “Prevention is better than cure.”
Out of a country’s health budget, a large proportion should be diverted from treatment to
spending on health education and preventative measures.
To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?
    ———————————————————— the answer —————————————————–
Everyone know the huge value of the health after falling ill. So there is always a sentence that remind us that prevention the illness is better than the regrettion after that.
Each country make a proportion of the GDP (gross domestic product) for the ministry of health with a big part in the developed countries. These money spent on the medicine, health insurance, and developing hospitals. Of course, it’s a good thing but what if part of this money was about the prevention of the diseases from the beginning?. From my point, countries can save lots of money if it helped its people to live healthy so we can cut the reason from the start.
The media is always the arm of any country to control the minds of the people. So I think it’s good that the country can use the media with its different shapes to build the healthy habits among the people. This way will decrease the spending of the GDP if each country on preventing diseases. Schools and university can play a role in this mission too. Adding the health education among children and young people will make it easier to accept the health living in the future in addition encouraging parents to follow the healthier ways too.
I’m one of people who wasn’t giving any attention to the healthy life however, now, I started exercising and eating healthy ad trying to live healthy specially after working in a company with employees with the same mentality. We need to keep our bodies well because it’s one of the tools that we can use to make our life and the world better.

  36. Advent of technology have rapidly changed different sectors and especially medical field, However now there is a shift towards use of alternative medicine forms.Eventhough this shift might provide a quick and minor relief to few people, there are a plethora of perils like fake practisioners, people relying heavily on them and not taking proper cure and worsening situation which would have solved easily by using conventional method. In this essay, we will explain the harmful effects behind the trend of using alternative forms of medicine.
Firstly, widespread usage of subsitute methods for medical practices have created a staggering increase in fake practisioners. They promote themselves by creating fake advertisements and rumours and influence people.Main problem is there is no verification process of the skill of the practisioner and there is no statistical evidence or records about his healing. In india previous month, there was a new article about a practisioner who used these kind of techniques for 7 years and have cured some cases, but while conducting a deeper investigation, it was found that, he used to perform some extreme techniques which have perished many lives and have caused serious injuries. He forced people not to reveal about these and atlast endedup arrested.
secondly, Extensive use of varied unconventional medicine forms have reflected in people relying less on conventional medicine and practices. While alternative methods used for minor health issues are fine, but people might see the postive outcomes from their experience and depends always on these methods and therefore might skip conventional methods for cruicial cases which then might end up giving terrible outcomes, even causing deaths of people. when we have qualified doctors and hospitals which constantly provide successful outcomes ,we should provide our faith more on these methods than the traditional forms of methods. In a research conducted by rural development coorperation of india have highlighted that, one of main cause of death in rural areas, especially those of children are caused by not taking proper medication, In these rural areas, they practice different alternative forms of medicine and only depend on them in most cases which have resulted in many unsuccessive outcomes.
In summary, use of alternative medical forms should be restricted to a limit and people should not depend on them on critical case and should seek proper professional medical services and not leave a chance to other methods which might be risky.

  37. Humanity has seen tremendous changes over the years, and all these changes have contributed in some or other ways to the overall growth of the homo sapiens. The field of medicines is also one such field that has evolved through various phases to reach the present level. This field of medicine is not only confined to Allopathy, but various other different sections of medicines are present which are gaining popularity among the general masses because of their healing properties. Although, one section of society considers these alternative medicines as useless and risky for humans and seeks solutions in traditional allopathic medicines. This essay is going to shine a light on the current trend of using alternative medicines and it’s effectiveness.

Alternative medicines such as Unani, Ayurvedic, etc are centuries-old forms of medicines that are gaining popularity in the present world and it’s solely because of their efficacy. There are millions of people who have got cured with the help of these alternative medicines. Even numerous articles have been published in various scientific journals citing the effectiveness of such medicines. Therefore, in my opinion, biasing them as ineffective and dangerous is unscientific and injustice to these age-old medicinal sciences.

Along with medicines, Yoga is another archaic form which helps in
maintaining fitness and treating several diseases. The origin of Yoga is considered centuries-old, way before the beginning of our traditional medicines. Over the years this form of treatment was lost but now it’s gaining pace in terms of popularity on the sheer basis of its effectiveness. Even medicine practitioners are following this art form to keep themselves healthy.

Traditional medicines have their benefits and based on those it holds such importance in the medical world. But, various old and new medicinal forms are also present in several parts of the world, which are as effective as traditional medicines science, if not more. This essay has discussed such medicinal forms and cities their importance and made a point that shrugging them off
as just a trend is unfair to the human race. Also, I think using these alternative medicines is not a trend but a way of life that is going to stay for the betterment of humanity.

  38. Question-in the last few decades, there have been more and more cases of famous people being hounded by the press. Some people think that famous people in the media have no right to privacy.
To what extent do you agree?
In my opinion when you come in limelight, more often you are prone to the cons that are attached to it. It is often seen that celebrities or other famous people have to take the help of the judicial or sometimes some security providing companies to protect them from all the media nuisance. There are a plethora of reasons to support the argument how media interference leads to disturbing effects on these people.
Firstly, due to the increase in the culture of idolizing a person is at a peak, therefore more and more people want to keep an eye on their respective pupil to get the motivation to do their best. This is taken as an advantage by the media companies to increase their TRPs in the entertainment industry. This indulgence of media led to adverse effects on the mental health of a celebrity. Most of the time, they are under constant surveillance of cameras which affect their day-to-day life. For instance, when you see the news nowadays about the most famous people, they are related to their daily schedule. On how they are going to the gym, how they are spending their holidays in Moscow. Even a small argument with their colleague can tarnish their image. Because of this, they are always on guard not to have any negative image about them to their fans.
Secondly, the obsession of fans is growing more and more in the last few years. They are now receiving threats from all over the world on engaging with someone or supporting other people. Their social media handles are almost at the risk of hacking. The best example of this can be the K-pop industry. Their rocketed coverings of famous dance groups have led to increased crime rates in Korea. Their celebrities and other high authority people are stalked on an everyday basis. Sometimes this stalking becomes so offensive that it affects the lives of these stars. They can not disclose their relationships to the world. For that, they are been harmed, harassed, and sometimes their family is attacked.
In my conclusion, I strongly agree with the statement that the right to privacy had been taken aback by famous people. Through media involvement, they are known to the world but because of their excessive media footages, their private life is damaged and they are always at the risk of anti-fan actions.

  39. Q : Crime is a big problem in the world ; many believe that nothing can be done to prevent it. To what extend do you agree or disagree?

Many nations across the world are considering heinous offences as a serious issue. Numerous people believe that there is no way to put an end to these violent activities. I partially agree with this statement.

Firstly, the judicial system is not capable of creating a fear in the mind of criminals. The punishment is not prompt and severe enough to stop someone from engaging in a crime. This fact makes individual believe that even if they break the law, they can somehow survive the judgement with the passing of time. For instance, it was a week or two later after the Delhi Nirbhaya rape case, which literally shocked the whole of India, a similar assault was reported. If the culprits of ‘Nirbhaya Case’ were immediately punished in a way that one will think twice before raising hand aganist a woman, then this wouldn’t have happened.

Creating awareness among people , right from the school levels, regarding the causes of misdeeds and the ways to stop them, can to some extend reduce the rate of crimes. No one is a born criminal. Infact, circumstances play a crucial role in majority of the cases. For example, extreme poverty can force a person to get into robbery and during the act of robbing even murder can happen. Innovations like extending a helping hand , self help groups etc. can help alleviate poverty and there by reduce the occurrence of offences.

To conclude with drastic efforts may be required to exterminate crime from the whole world owing to the fact that until it happens to us we are least bothered about it.

  40. It is known that Nowadays, people are absolutely encouraged to use different forms of treatments , however I strongly disagree that they could have negative impacts to their health.

As technology advances people’s health is extremely in danger and numerous diseases obviously appear.
This needs new discoveries of medical treatments including their effective use.
For example in most developed countries there is a common disease of headache due to the fact that ozone layer is being slightly destructed by industrial greenhouse gases. My Aunty ‘s daughter who lives in Europe has counted this problem and thanks to researchers who discovered new treatments and encouraged people to use them , she is still alive

Not only the technology the principal cause of a number of diseases but also incapacity of soils .
Today’s foods consumed are likely to make people unhealthy due to the application of pesticides and fertilizers to soils. Furthermore, the found out of how people can defend their selves in such a situation is crucial. For example yesterday I bought fresh fruits from supermarket but after the consummation all my three lovely children have got stomachache. The doctor advised me a kind of medicine to use every time they consume such kind of fruits convincing me that the cause are fertilizers applied to soil during their growing season.

In conclusion there are numerous cause of health problems in today’s world which lead to the discoveries of different new types of medicines . Moreover the encouragement of their efficiency use is the most important

  41. Question:- Nowadays many people travel to foreign countries for pleasure. Some believe this travel has a negative impact on the countries travelled to.
To what extent do you agree or disagree? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

    Answer:-
Currently, there is a contentious argument over whether people have to visit new locations for leisure and fun activities or not, as it may lead to a negative influence on those places. I totally agree with individuals moving temporarily abroad because it helps them to attain peace mentally and also the government can earn money through the tourism sector.

The principal reason to believe is, travelling of people to different countries is vital because it helps them to know about different cultures, origins, food, traditions etc all around the world. In addition to this, a change in environment from their regular ones results in rejuvenating their mental health. Another cogent reason to bolster this argument is that the tourism sector provides an ample range of employment opportunities whether it can be, working in a restaurant, as a local guide or in the transportation section. For example, my friend, who has an affinity towards food, had travelled to numerous places like Japan, Paris, Korea in the hunt to experiencing and tasting a variety of dishes.

On the contrary, some relevant issues for this trend cannot be ignored. Firstly, the native locals in those respective regions find it difficult to cope up with people from mixed races and cultures. Furthermore, their hostile behaviour can be cumbersome to the tourists. Besides this, another reason being, the discomfort caused by the street vendors in persuading to purchase the souvenirs. For instance, 2 years back when I visited The Taj Mahal in Agra, they were a lot of shop owners who pestered us to buy the souvenirs of The Taj Mahal every 5 minutes which ruined my day.

In conclusion, I opine that travelling to different countries can be relied upon for the reasons stated. Given this situation, it seems that it would be best if the government and the local residents could work hand-in-hand.

  42. Some people say that advertising encourages us to buy things we don’t really need. Others say that advertisements tell us about new products that may improve our lives. Which viewpoint do you agree with?
In recent years, advertisement has become more and more popular among the companies around the world. While some people believe that advertisements promote consumerism, others consider it as an informative tool leading to a high-quality life. In this essay, I will explain why I believe advertising might paves the way for a better life, while it might give rise to the unreal needs.
To begin with, it is important to acknowledge that consumerism is possible to be the results of advertising. This is mainly because advertisement companies employ strategies that create unreal needs. To illustrate, they might misinform people about new products by emphasizing on or exaggerating about the bright sides while simply not mentioning the drawbacks. For example, herbal products are highly promoted as one of most efficient ways to reduce weight and stay fit. What is not often presented in the ads is their side effects and the fact they might not even be as efficient as it is claimed by presenting some skinny famous models. The argument goes that the mass advertisements are creating the notion that using their product is the promising approach to help the consumers achieve what they desire.
That said, by introducing new products, advertisements cane be helpful in making people’s lives easier and more enjoyable. Being one of the main sources of information, advertisements can hugely influence the purchasing decision and shopping habits. When a new product, which has been refined in comparison with the older version, is introduced through ads, one probably would not hesitate to switch to the latest version. Take a smelly detergent that is not skin-friendly as an example. When it is broadcasted that the newly-designed detergent both is lung-friendly and does not contain chemicals bothering your skin, it is expected that the targeted consumers turn to buying them and by this shift enjoys a higher standard of living.
In conclusion, although advertisements can lead to consumerism by releasing uncomprehensive information, they are essential to makes people informed of the new product improvements so that they can live a better life.
